The St. Andrews Prize for the Environment

The St Andrews Prize for the Environment is an international initiative by the University of St Andrews in Scotland and the independent exploration and production company, ConocoPhillips. The award recognizes significant contributions to environmental issues and concerns. Research projects will not be considered.

Eligible Recipients:
Applications are invited from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams, non-profits, or community groups.

Eligible Projects:

  • Waste and recycling
  • Sanitation
  • Air quality
  • Solar power
  • Food supply
  • Community regeneration
  • Communication and education
  • Environmental justice
  • Reducing human-animal conflict
  • Water and biodiversity initiatives
  • Be related to sustainable development and be aligned with the UN Goals for Sustainable Development – explain the alignment.

$25,000 to $100,000
