Our team of technical assistance providers collectively bring over eight decades of experience helping communities across New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands execute their visions and goals.
As a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-designated Environmental Finance Center, we offer a full range of services and provide trusted, no-cost support to communities throughout our region. Our team of experts work hand-in-hand with elected officials, utility directors, and other community stakeholders to set priorities, develop projects, secure funding, and communicate with stakeholders at every step of the way.

Understanding that communities all have unique challenges and needs, we bring together a team of experts to offer customized solutions that align with the goals of your community.
Founded in 1993, SU-EFC is a pillar of the Institute for Sustainability Engagement (ISE), providing expert guidance and support to communities across EPA Region 2 by helping them navigate state and federal infrastructure funding and tackle the “how-to-pay” component of environmental protection and improvement.
