The US EPA is calling on Long Island water quality stakeholders to develop an approach for reducing environmental impacts on groundwater and surface waters on Long Island through a series of planning meetings. The SU-EFC provides meeting facilitation assistance and helps develop meeting agendas and objectives. Stakeholders include agricultural producers, soil and water conservation districts, local municipalities, agricultural and land trust organizations, private landowners, and other entities that provide water resource protection, agricultural technical assistance, conservation programs, and other related services.
