Webinar: State Funding Opportunities for NYS Water Systems
In April, New York State passed a budget for the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year that allocated $2.5 billion for water infrastructure. However, it can be difficult for smaller communities to wade through these which program(s) may be a good fit for the community’s needs.
About: This webinar will go through how the $2.5 billion will be allocated for water and wastewater systems, what projects will be prioritized, and who will be giving out this funding. It will explain where to go to in order to apply for this funding, and where further assistance can be found. With funding that can be used for everything from general water infrastructure projects and lead service line replacement to emergency loan and green infrastructure projects, there is now funding opportunities for projects that you have been putting off or wanting to do, but did not have the money to do it.
