Syracuse EFC has been playing a large role in education and outreach about topics relating to sustainable materials management (SMM) – from compost trainings with municipal leaders to recycling education with Girl Scouts. Over the past year, Syracuse EFC team has been working on a pilot office composting program at the Syracuse Center of Excellence headquarters building, and has now developed a quick “how-to” guide for composting in the office.
