In late July, Syracuse EFC partnered with the Finger Lakes Institute to sponsor the organization’s recent conference, “Proactive Approaches to Mitigating Impacts of Marcellus Shale Development,” and played a facilitation role throughout the event. Coming out of the event will be a toolkit for municipalities and local leaders to help them face potential development of the Marcellus and Utica shales in their communities.
