The Syracuse University Environmental Finance Center (SU-EFC) is pleased to introduce the interactive GREEN-PR Projects Map, which highlights environmental education initiatives supported by the GREEN-PR Program across Puerto Rico.
This comprehensive program is bringing environmental education in Puerto Rico to the next level by developing a network of environmental Stewards (typically students who have been trained through the GREEN-PR Stewardship Program) and “GREEN-PR Hubs,” as well as providing seed money to foster creative education initiatives through mini-grants. The goal of the GREEN-PR program–which stands for Generating Replicable Environmental Education Networks in Puerto Rico–is to support projects that will inspire students, teachers, and community members to replicate these efforts elsewhere on the island and beyond. The map will serve a resource in this effort.
